In this book Carter Kane and his sister Sadie must put aside their differences and work together to save the world from the chaos god Set.When their father goes missing one night and there is a creepy guy in a trench coat that they later learn is their uncle and they find out that they are being possessed by the gods Horus and Isis will they ever be able to save the world? Or will the world finally meet the end?
I think this book is like Harry Potter because Harry,Carter, and Sadie all have to fight evil people who are trying to kill them and end the world. They are both by different authors but, both authors write good books and they are very interesting.
I think a lot of people can relate to this book because we all have trials in our lives that we have to overcome. We can overcome our trials by talking about them to other people. We can also overcome our trials by telling people we trust and that can keep a secret.
Rick Riordan is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, the Kane Chronicles, the Heroes of Olympus, and Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard. He is also the author of the multi-award-winning Tres Navarre mystery series for adults. For fifteen year,Rick taught English and history at public and private middle schools in San Francisco Bay Area and in Texas.
